I went on my 1st exchange tour from the 29th Jan--9th Feb. Its not suppose to be a holiday actually and I have assignments to hand in during these 11days... thankfully I was able to finish the assignments before time and so.. I went. BUT I have an exam on 10th Feb (yesh! my birthday) and for this module... I can't really study cause it is a computer simulation module... that means... I need the software to practice! (which I don't have). I came back from the trip last night, was really tired and all (but still managed to finish uploading the photos... instead of studying:\) This morning, I woke up at 6am to prepare myself for the exam later and to do some practice in school... AND... I was greeted by ...
Thanks SU! I had a full breakfast (filled with warm wishes) and went to school. I went to the computer lab, still unsure of what to practice... so I just pick any one of the exercises and started doing. This is by far the most UNprepared of all my exams!... I went for my exam. I didn't know the exam is actually on one of the practice papers, there are a total of 6 qns and we're given a dice to throw and decide the qn each person will be doing. So, I threw the dice and... I GOT THE QN THAT I DID THIS MORNING!!! wow! and I completed the exam in 1/2hr... thank God all the birthday wishes is working!
When I went back, SU was already preparing my lunch (thank u again!). I had another full meal of fried bee hoon:) Then came ANOTHER surprise...
So I went out to do my laundry and SKYPE with Mummy until nearing dinner time... I went into the kitchen and was going to have my cereal (not pathetic... but seriously this has always been my craving for every meal since I came Finland)...AND came ANOTHER surprise! This time with my 2 other friends, they prepared dinner for me, it was another full meal... and I had an ice cream birthday cake :)
THANK U SU, SEBAS & XIN YING for all the effort in making this birthday such a memorable and special one in a place COLD and FAR AWAY from home :D
AND thank u LORD for the good grades! 100marks for this module! (I don't think I can
even get this grade in NUS) YEAH! one module down!
Everything that happened today seemed like a fairy tale, all the surprises, the lucky dice thrown, the good grades...and why do I say that? Cause my roommate is back to France and we didn't know when she'll return... BUT when the clock struck 12.33AM (exactly this time when I was blogging)... I heard someone opening the door... SHE IS BACK! hmm... I guess its back to normal.
BUT STILL, thank God for this SPECIAL DAY! :D
