My 1st service in Tampere

In my earlier posts, I wrote about finding churches in Tampere, Finland. I'm pleased to announce that I attended Tampere Pentecostal Church this evening. Their structure of service is somewhat like RCC, and being a pentecostal church, there is praise n worship, clapping and speaking in tongues. They start off with a short word of exhortation and prayer, then praise and worship, collection of offering, then a 10mins testimony/exhortation/word of prophesy from anyone, then pastor shared and finally a coffee fellowship.
Sermon: The beginning of beginnings- Genesis 1, 2
Brought us back to the beginning, to understand the fundamental of our identity- All that God had created, He saw that it was GOOD. God's nature is to create something that is GOOD, and He is by nature GOOD. We're created in God's image, thus, we ought to reflect His GOODNESS, His creative nature, His responsible nature to take care of HIs creation and to be a blessing around.

One brother shared something that struck me..."If you feel that you've not been receiving, it is probably that you've not been praying for the church leadership" How true... the importance of praying for leaders in church so that they'll receive from God and to impart and build up lives of believers.

It was good and I felt the warmth and friendliness of brothers and sisters there:)
And...I learnt a new song: Grace flows down
